All just very poor players when they were with us.
But for me one sticks out. This may be unfairly because it was due to my position in the BML left hand side looking at the pitch.
So for a period, for 45 minutes of every home game, I had the pleasure of watching Scott Minto very closely.
And let me tell you I have never seen a worse left back in my life. I always played left back and I honestly believe if I was fitter and stronger I would have been better at left back than him.
He was utterly useless. Had no idea about positioning. Had no idea about how to attack as a left back. He was like on of those kids that gets told "Don't go over the half-way line. Was too small to win headers. Couldn't tackle.
He was just an utterly pointless player.
But the worst of it was several times I actually saw fear in his eyes. From where I was standing you could see the fear. Was scared to get stuck in and knew every single time the ball was coming to him he never wanted it or knew what to do with it. He was so bad I gave up moaning at him because I felt sorry for him.
Watching him play football at that level was like watching a penguin trying to walk a tight-rope.
For me, he was the worst.

Faubert. Scuffed every pass and cross, usually up the arse of the opposing player. I once counted him taking 9 consecutive throw-ins that went to the opposition. He only got in the team cos we paid £6m for the bloke.

Gary Breen. Came with a huge reputation after a fairly good 2002 World Cup when afterwards he was supposedly being chased by Inter and Barcelona. The way Man Utd ran him ragged in the cup match up there will live with me as one of the most hapless performances I've ever watched.

You've obviously forgotten the games where Mike Newell partnered Steve Jones and we were actually praying for Dowie to come back from injury. Still, Brown stumped up for Hartson and Kitson soon afterwards, probably because we'd just been put through the worst ever strike partnership in the top flight.
